INTERNATIONAL NETWORK FOR STUDY OF FUNCTIONAL SYMBIOSIS AS KEY STRATEGY TO COPE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRAINTS IN AGROECOSYSTEMS

Funding entity: Comisión Nacional de Investigacion Científica y Tecnológica (CONICYT) Call for proposals in support of international networking between research centers (REDES180069).

Principal Investigator: Marco A. Molina-Montenegro (Centro de Ecología molecular y Aplicaciones Evolutivas en Agroecositemas, Universidad de Talca, CHILE).

Participants IRNASA: Beatriz R. Vázquez de Aldana, Iñigo Zabalgogeazcoa.

General objectives

(1) To establish an international collaborative research network for the study of functional symbiosis as a key strategy to improve the performance of crop plants facing extreme environmental conditions.
(2) To train young researchers in cutting-edge science contributing to the development areas of interest for all countries involved.
